VIRTUAL INITIAL APPOINTMENTS DURING COVID-19

We are now offering complimentary virtual consultations in lieu of an in-home initial visit. As we continue to navigate through this ever-changing time in our world, keeping our customers and employees healthy is our top priority.

If you’ve been thinking about getting an estimate, but haven’t had time to schedule an appointment, now is a great time to that! Here’s what to expect during your virtual visit.

STEP 1: CALL YOUR LOCAL OFFICE TO SET UP YOUR VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT:

HOUSTON: (281) 265-1994
DALLAS/FORT WORTH: (972) 915-2727

STEP 2: BE PREPARED

You’ll be virtually introduced with your one-on-one project developer and will be asked to e-mail:

  • Have a date and time in mind to schedule the virtual visit (expect 30 to 40 mins)
  • A copy of your lot survey
  • Pictures of the back of your home or area you are considering for remodel
  • List of features you are thinking about (patio cover, outdoor kitchen, fire feature, etc…)
  • A computer or tablet (you will need this to screen share during your appointment)

It’s helpful to know the different styles and features you like, so that you are prepared during the virtual consultation. You can find many ideas by browsing our gallery, here. You can also explore ideas on our Houzz page, here.

STEP 3: VIRTUAL CONSULTATION

You will receive a follow-up call within 24 hours of your set appointment to ensure the date and time still works well for you. About 5 mins prior to your appointment, you will be e-mailed a link that will allow you to share a screen with your project developer. You will get a phone call from your developer and will be asked to click on the link. Two important things to note here:

  • You will be able to see their screen, they cannot see yours
  • This is NOT a video call, so no need to do your hair
Screen Share

You will then have an open conversation about your wants, needs, obstacles and expectations. Again, please carve out 30 to 40 minutes for this conversation and have your questions ready! To help you as much in advance, click here for a list of frequently ask questions.

GOALS OF 1ST MEETING

-Review space

-Talk budget (budget blog, read ahead of time)

-Discuss a timeline (timeline blog, read ahead of time)

-Chat about design

STEP 4: VIRTUAL BID MEETING

There will be 7 to 10 days between your first virtual meeting and your second virtual meeting. At this meeting you will be shown the drawings and ideas created by your project developer.

These are just ideas and suggestions based on your prior conversation regarding what you hope to have built in the given areas discussed. Each and every project is completely custom, with measurements and ideas for your home only. You will also be able to view a multi-demential rendering of your projected project as well. No Such Thing as a Dumb Question

May 17, 2016 Patio Contractor, Patio Design

We are answering the most commonly asked question as part of a series we are doing each month.  So many want to know the answer to these questions, so we thought we would share it with all of you!  Last month we talked all about our specialty, and this month we are focusing on the big picture.  So here are some of the most commonly asked questions that all have, surprisingly, the same answer.

Can you put clear plastic over my pergola?

Can you add screens to my existing patio?

Can you just pour concrete?

As much as we would love to help you with all of that, we are a design build contractor who manages the project from start to finish scheduling multiple trades.  If your job requires only one trade, then it’s best to hire that trade directly!

If you are wanting to do more, we have the easiest process around … so easy that you’ll feel like it’s just one trade you are utilizing.

THE TCP DIFFERENCE

At Texas Custom Patios, we offer personalized service and flexible payment terms, and when you choose to work with us, you’ll work with the same project developer every step of the way (that’s the easy part we mentioned), from the preliminary design stage to project completion and clean-up.

We specialize in providing turnkey design solutions for outdoor living, including: patio covers, outdoor kitchens, screened porches, room additions, pergolas, fireplaces and so much more!  See our website for a complete gallery or on Houzz to see finished projects!

That’s why we offer a two-year warranty for materials and workmanship, and a five-year warranty for structural components of your home improvement project.

We also have $1 million in liability insurance to protect against accidents and injury.

NO SURPRISES: OUR EXACT QUOTE PROMISE

When you schedule a consultation with one of our experienced project developers, you’ll receive more than just a ballpark figure. We’ll tell you exactly how much your outdoor living project will cost – down to the penny.

But that’s not all. At Texas Custom Patios, every estimate includes a detailed drawing with specifications and dimensions, plus rendered views and elevations – so you can see a preview of your completed project.

But What About My HOA?

December 19, 2014 Outdoor Living, Patio Design

RemodelFor many homeowners just the thought of dealing with a Home Owners Association (HOA) for a remodeling project invokes fear. Homeowners worry that they’ll find difficulty or denials when they work with the associations.

In the majority of areas where we build outdoor living spaces, homeowners live in areas governed by an HOA. The associations serve to set standards in the neighborhood to keep property values high and provide common resources to the neighborhood.

No fear; no headaches.

When you choose Texas Custom Patios to remodel your outdoor living space, our Project Developers handle all the headache of submissions and approvals with your HOA. Our Project Developers work with your HOAs on a regular basis, so we’re familiar with the process, the standards and the wait times. We confidently navigate the process for you, so you can avoid the fear and any headache with your HOA.

Our Customers Love Us

In the past, we have had some problems with contractors. What they say and what they do are two different things. Not so with Texas Custom Patios. We knew what was going to happen, and when, and just as advertised, it happened. In three weeks, we had a 300 square foot addition to our house. We now have an outdoor media room and outdoor dining room and we LOVE IT.
