Elegant rustic outdoor space in Southlake

This home had an existing raised deck off the back without any covered patio.  They wanted a nice covered patio with room for a dining area and a sitting area as well as an uncovered patio for a fire pit. Their backyard had a considerable slope to it, so we had to add quite a bit of concrete to level out the yard and create a space that really changed the entire back yard.  Steps going down to the rest of the yard were also created.

Dining al fresco

The perfect dining area complete with a privacy wall. The wall is made of 8″ cedar slats that have been stained with a natural stain. The flooring throughout is travertine pavers in Silver by Pave Pro.

Outdoor living

This part of the patio space was designed for the family to enjoy the outdoors. Stone was added to the original brick wall to tie in the other stone components. All of the stone on the privacy wall, columns and walls are Bluebonnet Chopped from Republic Stone.

Heat it up!

Bromic heaters were added to make sure the space could be used on chilly days and nights.
The ceiling finish is Smokey Bourbon pre-stained tongue and groove by Woodtone. All of the columns have a stone base with hardie wrapped columns that have been painted to complement the colors of the ceiling and stone.

Room to spread-out!

This section of the patio cover is off the primary bedroom — a perfect spot for morning coffee or a late night glass of wine.

Our Customers Love Us

Texas Custom Patios did an amazing job on our covered patio, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor living area. Steven listened to the things we were looking for, and was able to come up with original design ideas that included moving our outdoor garage-addition staircase and blending in an unusual roofline with a new gable style roof. The results were exactly what we were looking for. The construction process was professional, on-time, and on-budget. All of the crews were professional and the work they did exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add an outdoor living area to their home.
