This space was created to host their family and to have a space where evenings could be spent mosquito free.
There was a lot of unused space in the backyard the homeowner wanted to use to create a nice screened porch.
The homeowner wanted a real rustic feel with cedar and dark wood that is offset with the white Austin stone. Incorporating double patio doors into the project was a must have. We installed the Larson screened patio door with twin attachment to make this happen.
The vaulted ceiling is prestained tongue and groove with stained cedar beams to match. The flooring is a stamped concrete in a flagstone pattern.
This kitchen was designed around the farmhouse sink with the pull down faucet. There is also a side burner, fridge, storage and ice bin. Lots of counter space to set up a buffet dinner.
The focal point of the room is the large stone wall with an inset for the TV. It also features a built-in ventless gas fire place to keep the space nice and warm during the winter months.
LOVE our new outdoor kitchen and LOVE working with Ryan at Texas Custom Patios. This is our second round with this company…they designed and installed our beautiful covered patio last year, and this year we put in the outdoor kitchen. From design through implementation, every aspect of the project went beautifully. Ryan is a pro, and no detail or question is too small or seen as a hassle. He wants to make the client happy…that is his number one objective and it’s totally obvious every step of the way. And the contractors they bring in are the same way..they will get you exactly what you want, and will help you make great decisions along the way. We love entertaining and being in our outdoor space…more than we ever thought we would. Thanks Ryan and TCP!!
