Patio Cover with Summer Kitchen and Bathroom Addition in Bunker Hill

A 450-square-foot patio cover was added to this home, along with an addition for a master closet and bathroom. This new space created an ideal backyard for the homeowner.
Before
We added a master closet and bathroom, along with a pool access bathroom, to this homeowner’s project. Construction on the room addition started before the patio cover.
New Bathroom
The new bathroom provides access to the pool and includes a shower for rinsing off after swimming.
Under the Cover
The new 450SF patio cover features a vaulted ceiling with stained cedar tongue and groove and deco beams. Pella doors and windows replaced relocated French doors, and the original siding was replaced with brick for the desired look.
Added Warmth
3 Bromic heaters were added to keep the space warm on colder days and nights.
Outdoor Kitchen
A 14-foot kitchen features a 38″ RCS grill, storage doors and drawers, and a vent hood, along with a granite counter and backsplash, all faced with old Texas brick.
Other Details
The flooring consists of travertine tiles from Daltile. A mosquito misting system was installed by Bug Defence.
