Patio Cover with Retractable Shades in The Colony

This home needed a larger outdoor space, and the homeowner preferred either an open patio cover or a screened porch.

Before
The space was limited, but after removing two existing columns we were able to expand the patio area.

Improving the Use of the Outdoor Space
After removing two columns, we extended the roof and added a 300 SF space, matching the home’s brick for the new columns.
Outdoor Kitchen
This outdoor kitchen features storage areas, a fridge, and an RCS grill, with a stone fascia matching the seat walls on the patio, complementing the brick and flooring.
It’s a Screened Porch Too!
Retractable screens were added to create a screened porch, with light walnut travertine flooring.
A View From The Yard
Screens down keep the interior cool and bug-free.
