Outdoor living with fireplace and kitchen in Spring

This home had a very large backyard and needed a total refresh. They were having a pool installed and also wanted an outdoor living room complete with an outdoor kitchen, fireplace and dining area.

Before

The large backyard was transformed into a backyard retreat. The long breezeway attaching the garage to the house did not provide much coverage and the small concrete patio just was not working anymore.

Lots of space

The cover was built with the fireplace as a room divider. This part of the new patio cover is dedicated to dining and relaxing. An extension of the indoor living and breakfast room.

Details

The vaulted ceiling is West Coast IPA pre-stained tongue and groove by Woodtone. There is a Bromic heater that was installed over the dining table to allow for an enjoyable dining experience even when it is chilly outside. The large ceiling fans are perfect for moving air and keeping the space cool. The flooring is a travertine tile.

Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen was built along the garage wall. It has appliances from Cunningham Living – an RCS grill, fridge, door and drawers. The granite is Black Pearl from Daltile.

Comfortable and Cozy

The double sided fireplace allows for 2 seating areas. All of the stone in the project is Autumn Blend Chop thin veneers from Alamo Stone.
The entire space is right at 765 SF and is equipped with speakers and a sound system to keep the party going.

One final look…

What a perfect backyard to live it out! The open air patio with a cover, kitchen, 2 fire features, and pool!

Our Customers Love Us

I have a lot of experience with construction and renovations, so some contractors find me annoying at best. My outdoor living project was larger than I was able to take on as it entailed adding an outdoor living area, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with a fireplace and fire pit. It’s built onto an existing structure with a tile roof in a seamless manner. The completed project is amazing, and was featured in the Houzz project of the month for December 2013. It was a very large project so it took a long time to complete, however the process was absolutely painless. In my previous experiences, I have always had issues with miscommunications and added costs, among other things. My experience with Texas Custom Patios included NONE of these issues. The finished project far exceeded my expectations. The workmanship was superior, and the quality of the products is top of the line. I truly highly recommend them.
