This spacious outdoor living room was added to allow for the homeowner to have the perfect patio to complement the home. We had to remove and replace the 2nd story windows in order to allow for a proper roof pitch – an easy fix to get the results the homeowner wished for.
This home needed more patio space for the homeowner to enjoy their back yard.
This space added 525 square feet of outdoor living. The ceiling is stained pine tongue and groove with dark stained cedar beams as accents.
The stone veneer fireplace, which was framed with full masonry blocks, has a reclaimed Hemlock mantle and is definitely the centerpiece attraction. The light travertine flooring is a perfect balance for the dark stone on the column bases and knee walls beside the fireplace.
A simple, yet very functional, outdoor kitchen area that is equipped with a gas grill, a Big Green Egg, a fridge and storage space was built into the side of the space. The back splash is a stainless steel tile, and the granite topped counter is faced with the same stone veneer as the fireplace.
The patio cover is surrounded by a stained concrete stepping stone sidewalk with black star gravel around the stones. The planter in the yard matches the column bases.
Or the Indoors out… The large windows that separate the indoors from the outdoors allows the 2 spaces to both have a very open feel. This contemporary craftsman style with clean straight lines in the columns is such a perfect match for what the homeowner desired.
We were incredibly pleased with Texas Custom Patios. Jeremy did an amazing job of keeping us informed, and the job was pretty much completed in the time he said. The workmanship was great and our patio looks like it was part of the original house design. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work done. Well worth the money we spent and we were pleasantly surprised that it was less than we thought it would be.
