This home had a large blank slate of a backyard. The homeowner wanted to add a pool and a new outdoor living space to enjoy their yard.
The new outdoor living room is about 675 SF that includes an outdoor kitchen, a dining area and a fireplace area set up for lounging.
The kitchen is outfitted with appliances from Cunningham Living, Expressions Home Gallery and S.T.E.D. The griddle is from Expressions and is a great alternative to an outdoor grill. There is an undercounter ice maker from S.T.E.D. All of the doors and drawers, dry pantry and outdoor fridge are RCS brand from Cunningham Living. It is the perfect set up for outdoor dining.
The beautiful counter is Taj Mahal Leather from Omni Surfaces and creates the perfect work space. The kitchen is faced with Nordic Silver split face stone from Keystone Tile that matches the coping on the pool.
Light fixtures and fans were provided by the homeowner and are absolutely perfect for this space.
The space in the middle was set up to have family meals. The flooring throughout the space is Flagstone White 16×32 porcelain tile from Thorntree. The ceiling is Smokey Bourbon pre-stained tongue and groove Fineline by Woodtone. We installed 3 Bromic heaters from Cunningham gas to help keep the space warm on chilly days and nights.
The fireplace that anchors the living area is a gas fireplace with black lava rock. The mantle is reclaimed red oak wood from The Reclaimed Wood Shop. The fireplace is faced with the same Nordic Silver split face stone as on the kitchen and pool coping. The hearth and seat/knee walls are honed Ivory slabs from Legends Architectural Stone. The brick wall was slurry painted to give the space a whole new look.
One last look at this new backyard. Such a beautiful transformation.
I am totally satisfied with my new patio. The whole project was done very well and I recommend Texas Custom Patios to anyone – all my neighbors and friends were impressed.
We proudly serve the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth areas.
