The homeowner already had a great set up in the backyard with an outdoor kitchen, covered patio and pool; however, they wanted more space and privacy from the neighbors.
As you can see there is already a very nice outdoor living area. They wanted more and to add some privacy to their backyard.
We added a second patio cover along the other side of their home. We matched the stucco finish of their home and installed travertine pavers to match the existing patio and pool surround.
We added 425 SF of additional space with a modern double beam. The ceiling is Woodtone Smokey Bourbon. We built the new patio cover around a calming water feature as the centerpiece of this covered area.
Motorized drop shade screens were added for protection from the sun and to create a privacy screen. The subtle colors blend seamlessly with the paint of the project.
As a part of the project, we updated their existing patio cover by redoing the ceiling finish to match the new patio cover. They now have the perfect space to relax and truly enjoy their backyard.
We worked with Mark, who came to us with plans and fully explained the costs, materials, timeline, and talked about the construction methods. The project was well organized, with a new crew arriving once each stage of construction was completed. I kept a photo record of it, which was fun and friends are wowed by the timeline. I completely recommend Texas Custom Patios.
