This home is located in an area of Houston that has a wide variety of styles of home. This home is a traditional 2-story brick with a very large backyard. The homeowner wanted to add outdoor living space so they could enjoy the outdoors year-round.

Flooring
Stamped concrete with brick accents was used for the entire floor surface.

Outdoor Kitchen
In the larger space, a custom outdoor kitchen was constructed complete with a high end grill and a big Green Egg. The kitchen is faced with brick to match the home and the countertops are a dark granite. complement the red brick nicely. Along the sides of the living area, a knee wall with cast stone cap was constructed to provide for additional seating and as a way to contain the space.
Wired for Lighting & Sound
Premium wireless surround sound was added for ease of entertaining and both drop and directional lighting was used to allow for the homeowner to create the best atmosphere for entertaining and relaxing outside.
Multiple Levels & Roof Styles
There are multiple elevations and gabled roofs that match the existing structure. The homeowner is now able to enjoy their backyard – whether it is a quiet family meal outside or a large dinner party – year-round.
Amazing Vaulted Ceiling
A wood ceiling of stained pine tongue & groove was used. The beams were stained darker to create a nice contrast.
