The unique shape of this project was dictated by the heavily wooded backyard in The Woodlands. The area was divided into two distinct spaces/rooms.
The gabled entrance puts you in the outdoor kitchen area with a large raised bar top, stacked stone fascia and granite counters.
The kitchen area adjoins to a seating area with a wood-burning, all-masonry fireplace.
The fireplace is faced with a veneer stone and has a cedar mantle. No one will miss the game with televisions in each area.
The entire project has flagstone flooring and a stained pine tongue & groove ceiling. The ceiling is vaulted in the kitchen area and flat in the fireplace area.
Texas Custom Patios was a pleasure to work with from first call to final detail on our patio cover and flooring. Everyone we worked with — office personnel on scheduling, crews on fast and quality work, and Steven helping with design ideas and scheduling and issue resolution — were all what contracting should be. We had been looking at our odd roofline, chimney location and numerous angles for over 10 years and received numerous quotes and estimates that just didn’t work or the contractors flatly said they couldn’t do what we were looking for . . . until Steven and TCP arrived and did exactly what we wanted (and more) on time, on budget, no hassle. We love our new space and receive many compliments on the look and functionality of the space and design. We would love to have TCP and Steven do another project for us and we recommend them to anyone.
