A cozy space was created off to the side of the home to give the homeowners a space to enjoy their pool and backyard.
The home had a very blank wall on the side of the house. The small yard was wasted and the homeowner wanted a place to sit outside and enjoy their pool.
This patio cover has a small gabled roof to give the project some texture and allow for a higher ceiling underneath. This little room certainly gives the homeowner the privacy from their neighbors that they desired.
To help cut down on the amount of light that shines in during the late afternoon, the homeowner added a motorized retractable screen.
This space has a nice little seating area with a gas log fireplace as the central focus. The north wall is finished with cedar shingles and the vaulted ceiling is trimmed with cedar as well as the beams and columns.
The flooring is a Fiberon composite deck with hidden fasteners. A low maintenance option that allows for a rustic look. Low-voltage lights were placed in the edge bands of the deck.
We had very high expectations when Texas Custom Patios began construction on our back patio space. Because our roofline has a steep pitch and the odd location of our chimney, we were concerned about whether the addition would flow seamlessly with the rest of the roofline. Steven and his crews far exceeded our expectations. Professional and attentive to our concerns, Texas Custom Patios created the outdoor space we’ve always wanted – only better.
