This home is on several acres and the homeowner wanted a freestanding outdoor living room with a large kitchen and fireplace that matched their home.
The blank slate we started with — open space and lots of room to build the perfect outdoor living room for this family.
The rustic stone and dark stained columns create this stunning outdoor space. Extra concrete pads were poured for plants and a smoker.
The homeowner wanted this space to mimic their home. We built the space with a gabled roof to match the existing cover on their home as well as matching the stain, siding and metal roof.
This 18 foot kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic smoker, grill, side burner, fridge, sink and lots of storage making it easy to completely cook a meal outside.
The granite is Fantasy Brown 3cm leather finish from InStyle Granite and Marble. The raised bar top provides plenty of seating for dining outdoors. The stone throughout the project is Colonial Monte Vista from Apex Stone. The hearth and seat walls are topped with Ashton Moire ledgestone also from Apex Stone. The ceiling is American Nut Brown pre-stained tongue and groove by Woodtone.
The custom built fireplace is woodburning with storage on either side for wood in the winter and decorative plants in the summer. The flooring is a hand-carved limecrete overlay in a travertine pattern. The columns are finished with a gel stain on hardie to match the home.
Another look at the project – this outdoor space completes this backyard.
In the past, we have had some problems with contractors. What they say and what they do are two different things. Not so with Texas Custom Patios. We knew what was going to happen, and when, and just as advertised, it happened. In three weeks, we had a 300 square foot addition to our house. We now have an outdoor media room and outdoor dining room and we LOVE IT.
