A screened porch is the perfect outdoor living area where one can relax without having to worry about the bugs and weather. It creates a private outdoor area for entertaining friends and family.
Here is what was on the back of this home … a wooden deck that had served it’s purpose, but it was time to update.
What a great way to sit outside and watch the world go by. A gabled roof gives such an open feel to the 225 SF porch area.
The homeowner wanted a French country feel to the screened porch. We used ship lap on the inside of the knee walls and a pine ceiling with 4X6 beams. The ceiling is painted Aqua Sphere and really pops with the off white trim.
This screened porch has all of the comforts of indoors…. but it isn’t! A great addition to allow for some much needed staycation! The floor is a colored concrete with a sealer.
The sliding door was custom built with cedar and Phifer Suntex dark bronze screen. The same screen was used on the openings as well.
If the homeowner wants to get some sun… we added this additional porch area for enjoying the outdoors.
There are 2 sides to the screened porch. This side is a shady area for quiet times or a for dining al fresco.
Top notch company. This firm stands behind its work. We had a small issue with some cracks in our slab related to settling, and Ryan had someone out the day after my phone call. Upon inspection, we were presented with several options and the work was completed in a week. I cannot say enough good things about Texas Custom Patios and the quality of their work.
