A simple, yet fun outdoor living area was created for this homeowner. With the pool already in place, we had to design a patio cover that was large enough to provide shade for the family without getting right to the edge of the pool.
This home had a very tiny covering over the back door. The homeowner wanted a simple patio cover to have a space to come in out of the sun.
The 260 SF patio cover gives the homeowner space to settle in and get some shade. But also has a space to dine under the stars.
In order to really match the original look of the home, the homeowner chose to use hardi on the ceiling and to wrap the columns. This look gives the outdoor space very clean lines.
To add a little flair to the project, we custom designed the gable truss – a perfect window.
This patio cover is the perfect spot to come in out of the sun, watch a game or curl up with a good book.
I am beyond impressed with the quality of the materials, the sub-contractors hired, and the overall final appearance of this project. This was our first experience with a contractor/home improvement project (beyond changing out shower heads, etc.), and I must admit that I am a little terrified to tackle anything else… I have been spoiled by Texas Custom Patios. Thanks, guys!
