This home had an existing small patio cover, paver patio with a knee wall and an existing pergola out in the yard. The homeowner needed more shade and wanted a small outdoor kitchen added.
Here is the small covered area that was built with the home. The paver patio was kept in place as we built the new, larger cover.
The homeowner wanted to have a place to come home from work and just relax in. We hung their large porch swing to enable them to enjoy the outdoors the way they wanted to.
We added a small, but very functional outdoor kitchen under their existing pergola. With their dining table under there as well, it makes for perfect alfresco dining.
The ceiling is vaulted to really open up and expand the space. Surround sound was installed for the ultimate entertainment experience.
The outdoor fireplace with a cast stone front was created with 2 purposes in mind – one to provide a nice cozy atmosphere for the homeowner and two to create a bit of privacy from the neighbors. The French doors that lead right into the living area allows for a nice flow when hosting larger get togethers.
We worked with Mark, who came to us with plans and fully explained the costs, materials, timeline, and talked about the construction methods. The project was well organized, with a new crew arriving once each stage of construction was completed. I kept a photo record of it, which was fun and friends are wowed by the timeline. I completely recommend Texas Custom Patios.
