The homeowner had an existing pergola and landscaping that didn’t give them the outdoor space they desired. We designed and built a new covered patio for them that added flooring and drainage and made the outside feel like the inside.
Here is the pergola and area we had to work with — quite a transformation!
The new outdoor living area has plenty of room for what the homeowner desired – space to relax in. They can now just walk out the back door and enjoy their outdoor living area.
The outdoor kitchen is equipped with RCS appliances – a grill, side burner, storage space and a fridge. The stacked stone on the kitchen fascia and columns are a nice touch.
The location of the kitchen provides easy access into the indoor kitchen for clean up and bringing out the needed supplies for grilling up the perfect meal. The pendant lights add the perfect touch for over the granite counter kitchen area.
The back side of the outdoor kitchen has a bar top for extra seating when there is a crowd.
The gabled roof was just extended out from the original roof line. The kitchen area has a flat roof to match the original roof line over the back door. The ceiling is a pine tongue and groove that has a white wash finish and fake beams stained in mahogany.
This covered patio provides a stunning view to the beautifully landscaped back yard and pool. You can also see the extra bar space we added at the end of the pool. This bar area serves several purposes – the main one to hide some pool equipment.
Here is a better view of the outside bar area – a perfect spot for easy access to your drink while you are taking a cool dip in the pool.
In the past, we have had some problems with contractors. What they say and what they do are two different things. Not so with Texas Custom Patios. We knew what was going to happen, and when, and just as advertised, it happened. In three weeks, we had a 300 square foot addition to our house. We now have an outdoor media room and outdoor dining room and we LOVE IT.
